gosh!! i had the thomas tank engine poison too! all thanks to the boys. and since May 2008, i've been asking my forum friends - is there a Thomas concert in June 2008. and the answer is NO. i was quite disappointed.

papa! i mus go!! this is the best birthday present for the boys!, it's in 1st week of September!!! & i even got an earlybird discount. (provided i book tickets before 10 july.)
i have two army boys now. i decided to shave their hair short. the weather now is so hot and unpredictable. chen is always scratching and grumpy. he was a heaty baby, i think due to my confinement food, too many ginger. and when he drinks my milk, he drank all the ginger in too. i never eat so much ginger during the 1st confinement, so heng was not so heaty like didi. was this the reason???
anyway, both their hair is too long, can tie up already! although i suggest just trim lah! they look more handsome mah. but my dad think its a waste of money to just trim, cause we are still paying SGD5.00 for the service!!
so happy to see the droplets on my window pane! Malacca was so hot, but Singapore has rain the last fewdays, especially in the afternoon, making it a nice and cosy time for the boys to nap.
chenchen was feeling uneasy without the aircon, and i worry the fan was too strong, as power 1 is already very windy. but it was obviously not cold enough for him. he was keeping me up the whole night, and scratching til his neck, shoulders, armpits and diaper area all bleeding.
hengheng was happy and excited at least 1 week before holiday starts. he keep saying and telling everyone, "i am going to singapore / ang mo kio." so he has no problem with the weather at all.
this afternoon, we went to a japanese restaurant for brunch. as we are seated near the kitchen, the waitress who waits around there, play with chenchen..
me & hub ask chenchen to call her 'kaka', but she insist on 'jiejie' (later hub say, wow, now malay girls don't want to be call kaka. i repsoned, yalor, cause kaka is now labelled as MAID )
so chenchen start calling her jiejie, jiejie.
at 1st, hengheng pay no attention when jiejie play 'flicking eyelashes' with chenchen. but when chenchen start calling jiejie, & jiejie laugh. hengheng want to join in the fun. so he call loudly too, JIEJIE.
but jiejie DID NOT give much response. only until heng calls for 3rd or 4th time, then she responses, ayee!! & she start asking TWO question on hengheng. 1. how old is he? 2. so only 2 boys?
& she ask a lot question about chenchen. (cause she ask in malay, so hub answer her all the time. i have no time to answer her anyway, cause i am busy cutting up the udon & feeding both of them)
so when we leave the restaurant, both boys say 'byebye' to jiejie, & she finally say byebye to both of them.. dh remarked, this was the most uneasy meal i had!!
my 2 monsters are out with FIL after dinner. (he brought them to hub's grandma's place) so i finally had the chance to watch "To Grow With Love", 8pm show on Astro, in full concentration.
peace and quiet!! but only for that hour, after the show, i had my bath. and during bath, i feel so empty. because usually, the boys will come and make sure i am around. they call and shout (by hengheng) and beat (by chenchen) on the bathroom door. and now i can enjoy some internet time. still feeling the emptiness. so this is what it feels like to be in 'an empty nest'. hmmmm.....
he can undo big buttons!! but cannot button up a shirt. the big buttons are from his uniform. mummies who had kids in Kinderland will know, their uniform had a vest with 2 big buttons.
chenchen:
he has learnt so much new words. everyday, he can mimic new words from our mouths & Playhouse Disney. sometimes, he even say Hokkien to FIL.
gorgor - he tries to be cute like didi! who can't say out what he wants. so didi will point & say 'ehh ehh'. so gorgor also does it: cries and sob but refuse to say what he wants.
didi - when gorgor pours out the toy drawer, he stood on top of it. didi was happily exploring the mess of toys, which i thought he didn't see what gorgor did. but when i told hengheng to step off the drawer. didi stood up casually. and then.. both of them take turns standing on it!! it was so lucky the plastic drawer didn't give way!
chenchen finally had his 1st bowl of rice yesternight. since our last visit to SG on 23 nov, he always wake up around 4am for milk. he hasn't been waking up for midnight feed for 10months at least! hub & i had so many guesses. (too heaty? tummy has ringworms?) but in the end, the reason is: he is not full! growing spurt i suspect. since he had rice for dinner yesternight, he didn't cry or make any sound until 7.45am!
hengheng... he is getting cheekier. anything that he don't like, he say "buy new (one)". yesternight, he pooed on his pants again! (the night before he followed me to toilet and done his biz there. then yesterday, his old bad habit is back.) i was busy making milk for chenchen. i notice heng is squarting at the towel rack. but usually he poo standing up, so i never give him a second look. until the milk is done, then i attend to him. >_< he poo squarting down.
after i laid chenchen on the mattress so he can drink his milk, i carried heng to the toilet. i told him, "i don't like to clean your poo and wash your butt ley. can you poo in the toilet bowl? since mummy don't like, can i go work? mummy is uselss here. is mummy useless?" he dared to answer me YES, GO BUY NEW MUMMY.
my MIL is too tired from looking after them. she had high blood pressure few days ago. but after taking medicine, its back to normal. chinese sensei say she is too heaty. so we are considering putting heng in school full day. yesterday it rained, so FIL was home for 1/2 a day, he too cannnot 'tahan' hengheng. kekeke, this is 'generation gap' - the kids nowadays are very different from us the parents! they are too active, too clever. oh by the way, hengheng is not color blind! he started to play ZUMA seriously, so i knew he can recognized RED, BLUE, etc.
we are back to Malacca this morning. & i didn't get to meet any of my friends or forum mummies!
what a record!
half of the time, my boys are sick. so we cannot go out, the most i brought them to AMK Hub to play with the bubble on Thur night, when chenchen feel better. click the photos for large view.
