today is the kindergarten's zoo trip. the boys have been waiting for this day with excitment (and countdown ceremony)
the normal procedure, reach the school, line up, some light breakfast (hotdog buns) then its up the bus everybody goes.
i had to follow chenchen as chaperon, so he sat with me. and he ask non-stop once we sat down! he was sad in the morning when he thought i did not go with him. after i assure him that i am going, he happily hop down our family car.
everything else is normal, we reach the zoo safely, all the kids follow in line (almost! kids always are kids, there are bound to have some left out, some out of the line, some wonder elsewhere.) we reach at 9am, walked for about 1hour, then went to the tram station to wait for the 10am tram.
half way the driver let us down and we take a walk through the deer cage.
when the tram ride is finish, its almost time for the animal show. so we all walk down to the stage, and have a toilet break before the show starts. i think it was rather short, compared to the show in Animal World in A'Famosa.
last is the elephant show, and 1 unfortunate accident happen when we are ready to go home! a branch drop from the tree and injuried one of the kids! he was bleeding on top of his head! the principle had to carry him, follow the zoo-keeper and rush to the hospital!!!
like what one of the teachers say, "accidents still happen no matter how careful we are!"
sigh...

today is Good Friday, but it's not a public holiday in Malaysia.
seems like very long i'd not update my blog. have been busy with our online biz. we are doing a Mother's Day promotion, so have been uploading more items and sending out e-flyers.
chen has grown taller. before the March school holidays, we went to Carrefour, and he need to tip-top to reach the conveyor belt when we ride it up to 3rd floor.
last month (end of march) we went again to fill our cupboard (we are addicted to Maggie Curry, even the boys!!) chen can reach the belt without stretching!
during the March holidays, i found out heng can memorize music notes just by listening. he listen for 2 days, by the 2nd night, he played a few note out by himself! i thought it was my mom or dad that had taught him, but they both say NO. 
so i requested 1st SIL to teach heng when she is free at home last saturday, he learnt "I hear Thunder / Where is Thumbkin / 2 Tiger (chinese)" in 1/2 hour.
few days ago, he ask me to teach him a new song, but i don't know how to play piano 
this morning, after dropping the boys off to school, we went to have breakfast, as usual. (every week day routine)
as we turned into a small lane, we saw this middle-aged (50+) Malay lady wanting to cross the road.
and as we approached her (less then 200m!) she suddenly step out!
my heart stop beating at that second!
lucky hub was quick enough and swive the car slightly out, so had avoided banging her. then i saw she was holding her granddaughter (i presume, she was 4-8 yrs old) and i couldn't see her because the granny was blocking her.
then later, when we are eating at the kopitiam. hub was stretching his neck and watching some man carrying his son off. (the family just finish their breakfast) so i ask, your classmate?
he said, no, the mom DID NOT hold her son's hand when crossing the road!
so i said, maybe the 2 woman should change children; the 1 who step out so fast should NOT HOLD HANDS, and the 1 walk slowly hold hands..
what are all these folks thinking...
