we are going singapore at 2pm, 24 may 2008!
but first, morning had a parent-teacher meeting. his chinese teacher this morning pass me some chinese books and flash cards. she say its for revision. and she also commented that he not really paying attention in class. she always has to call his name, "yue heng, look at me!!"
so, tomorrow must ask his form teacher how's his attitude in class. but since young, he is always like that, he learnt things not by paying attention! don't know how he did it...

♥ tired Mother's Day

if you had read my twitter, you know that hub's grandpa has pass away on friday evening. thus we had a tiring and sad Mother's day.
since it was the 3rd day of the furneral, we had to 'da chai' - chant and walk round. we walk 3 times, and each time, at least 10 rounds. 1 of the relative commented, it was more tiring than playing ball!!
i felt chenchen's thigh as i changed him just now, it was so tough! LOL, trained his musslces as he walk 1/2 of each round with me. i was curious about heng's, so i went over. ayyyee.. it was soft. he didn't walk enough. kakakaka. 
worst of all, blur heng brought back the wrong mother's day gfit!! he brought home his classmate's work. 
so 2 mommies Mother's Day was ruin by a blur boy. inherited by his papa, it was a terminal disease.

as per previous post about the saving in our house. here's the proof:
as you can see, prevous month was 300+. and hub said one day, why don't we do this way, how much you save in a month, is how much your allowance. but of cause i rejected his proposal. hehehe. nonetheless, we have made such huge savings in this household!
I DID MY PART IN SAVING THE EARTH AND GLOBAL WARMING!!!!

so happy to hear from my brother (thru MSN) that my parents had brought bus tickets on 1st May, 10am. but my mum fallen sick with cough and flu after they bought the ticket.
i wish we can go to Water World on saturday. please pleeease be there, sunlight!! and friday we can go take the boat ride again.

♥ electric bill drop like a bomb!

WOO HOOO!!!
for the past few months, since we start paying the household utilities, the electricity bill was around RM200. so last month, i started a trial and error way to see how much money we can save. that is : switching off all the power plugs when we sleep.
so first item will be the television and it's connected parts (cable and hi-fi). have told hub to switch off the power supply instead of just pressing the off button on the remote control for the 3.
and the computer and modem will be switched off constantly, at least 2 hours per day. and our lightings at night are lighted at certain areas.
today, the latest bill comes into the mailbox. and since i can't understand malay, i took the bigger figure as the current month's bill : RM145. and we had a brought-over figure of RM85. so our total bill this month was not a big killer = RM230.
when hub was back for lunch, i showed him the bill proudly! then he read and say, NO LAH! LAST MONTH'S USAGE WAS ONLY RM85, the brought-over figure was RM145. wahhhh, i drop my jaw...

♥ sch holiday lor!!

it's school holiday from 9 - 16 march. so we are going back to singapore tomorrow!
because it was voting day today, all workers in singapore came back, and we saw a lot of singapore cars yesternight. others who travel via coach, will go home tomorrow. thus when we went to buy tickets, we are only left with 7.30 am!!
and there's some homework for hengheng. he cannot play too much until he has finish them!!

♥ a guy adopted galgal

as my previous post about galgal, we went back to the temple for other queries. Guan Ying Liang Liang "counted" and tell hub that galgal is now with a guy.
ok lah, so now we cannot visit her anymore. 
the biggest regret!! hengheng didn't had the lastest photo with her!! but he still has more photos with her then chenchen.
Guan Ying Ma said because chenchen is born in year of dog. if we want to rear dog, he cannot stay with us. so i replied hub, this means we can only have dogs when we retired, when he moved out, when he grew up...
nevermind.. i must learn to let go my beloved. another life lesson learning in process. i knew what to say, but doing it is really a difficult & different thing!
lastly, she predicted we will move out after 3 years!! so i said, HURRAY! HENGHENG CAN GO SINGAPORE AND STUDY LIAO!!!

♥ bye bye galgal

MIL's relative call her late at night. something terrible will happen to her in 3 month's time. something must be done!!
so at 11pm, hub, 1st BIL, 2nd & 3rd SIL, 2nd BIL's girlfriend and MIL all drove up to the relative's house. this relative runs a temple. so Guan Yin Ma told them what is happening and what to do to resolve these.
1 of the things we need to do is set free all the animals in our house. they are: FIL's chicken & his tank of fish, and our dog. when hub told me this in the morning, i was so shock! he say GYM said we should bring her to those gardens or empty fields to set her free. BUT don't worry, she will be found by a nice person and they will take good care of her. but still, i started to cry in the cafe!!
i took about 5-10 minutes before i can calm down and stop tearing. when i got home and finish the house chorse, i went into the bedroom, lock the door and start to cry again. then another short while in the toilet sobbing. Tues is the same, but less time sobbing and no more crying. i think my tears are drying up.
Wed GYM came to cleanse our house, and she came to me and ask me to bring the dog out with her. hub went to get the FU that was given earlier. and we brought the chicken into the car too. we drove back to her temple, and hub set the chicken free in the hill opposite the temple. but this kampung chicken was reared for so long, he came straight back to the temple. their uncle has to bring the chicken into the hill again.
galgal was brought to the neighbour, who has taken shelter a stray dog few days ago. but this dog wasn't house-broken, so it bite shoes and pee all over. GYM was unhappy and ask them to adopt galgal and release the stray dog. but the neighbour rejected us. so hub ask, so it's ok to let other people adopt instead of setting her free? we got a OK for GYM, so he called his friend's SIL, who is another dog lover and keeper. she agreed to let galga stay with her!! i was relieved that galgal wasn't going to be another society problem. (i suggested why don't we bring her straight to SPCA instead of leaving her in the empty field. then he told me to trust him, he planned to let galgal go on Saturday and he has a good plan. i was quite shock that i need to let her go 3 days earlier. i didn't even had time to snap photo of her and hengheng.) but now since galgal is staying with a friend, i feel relaxed and we can go visit anytime. hengheng wanted to follow and he played with her all the way until he fallen asleep. when he woke up, we are already back home. 1st thing he ask is where is the kuku (FIL call chicken kuku) and galgal. i told him, kuku set free in the hill and galgal went for a hair cut. which is true cause we brought her to a pet shop for grooming, then the friend's SIL will go fetch her back to her house.

♥ day 2 back home

it's the tradition for married daughters to go back home on 2nd day of CNY. because it was believed it wasn't lucky to go house visit on 2nd day. *shrug, none of the morden parents or children still follow this tradition. i didn't even know about this custom until i read the papers.
anyway, i wanted to go back on day 5 but ALL COACHES r full. thus, we decided to go back on day 2 and back on day 3. also, hengheng won't miss too much of his school activities.
start off early 7.30am bus. reach singapore around noon, we drop off at JB 1st custom. (it's been so long i use that custom!!) so we alight at woodland custom and took 170, then MRT home. both boys are excited. hengheng been asking questions none stop!
"what the train say? what station next?" blah blah blah
reached home at 1pm, even had time to bath the kids, then we start the day of visiting. can only visit 3 houses, it's always my side's tradition to start off in the late afternoon. that's why i decided to take the early bus on day 2.
night time went to monica's new house. wahh! the last station! same like joyce!! both of you!! cannot visit both of you on the same day. otherwise, half the day gone while travelling in the MRT!!! it's nearly 9pm when we reached her house and karen's baby is sleepy. so we only had a brief chat and they went home. we stayed til 10.30pm and bid goodbye. Punggol houses really like condos. at least her floor plan is the same as my 5th uncle's loyang condo. but HER LIVING ROOM is 1/3 bigger then my uncle's.

♥ spring cleaning

now, i only have a room to clean!
when i just started, chenchen fall asleep with FIL in their room. MIL wanted to bring him over cause he recognize bed. (smell) but i just started!! so she leave him as he is. and he is so sensitive. normally on his own bed, he can nap for 3hours, but now, he only sleep for 1hour.. >_<
hengheng came into the room and say he want to 'work'. (help) but of cause, he mess up more then help. he brought out all the blankets and quilt. i thought he will be falling asleep soon.. WRONG!! after chenchen woke up, both of them having great fun on the bed. occasionally, both of them came down and explore my boxes and drawers.
i have so much accessories & ding-dongs! some of the baby & my stuff i want to sell off, but haven't got time to take photo and post them up in the forum and blogs. so far only done 1, previously done by my bro's girlfriend - http://chowws.blogspot.com/2007/10/selling-dress-long.html (& it's still available!!!)
so i've decided, this year, we need to buy a cupboard to hold all the barang-barang, e.g. photo albumSSS, bookSSS (1 big and 1 small plastic box). since hub is too busy, (because we went to KL for 2 days) he say monday or tuesday then go.
