they called to hold netmeeting for twice this wk orady!

n fr MSN msgr, we've "upgraded" to SKYPE. its is really clear for voice! chattin overseas is no prob! but the image is not so good. mayb due to the webcam.

FIL asks us to leave heng wif them til CNY. wahh!! siao! 3 whole weeks there!!! den no nid com back orady lah! leave him there n let him b the DA GE DA in melaka.

aft 4 days there, he orady dun listen to us, n misbehave alot!! no way r we gona leave him there again, not even 1 day!

me abit regret i got softheartened n leave him there the last time... :(

out of nowhere..2006 creeps in..

n bcos there's long wkend, hub n his frds cum collegues played mahjong in the Xmas long wkend. so they continue 'building 4 walls' this wkend.

i played a while bcos he is too tired n sleepy. few rnds n i only win few bucks when its was the last game for me. i hv to bring heng back home to sleep cos he din nap for long. his record: 9pm - 10am

thus, i count down at home alone, wif the pc n games i played.. luckily, there's 1 stage perfomance behind my alley. duno who hired de. but there's music n songs, den countdown. think got fireworks too..illegal de.

when hub drove us back home, our neighbour oso put fireworks. we quickly run in, scare the fireworks hit our heads!

i think i nid a hair cut. CNY comin liao, n my hair is too thick for the warm weather! i used to layer it every few mths when in SGP, cos mum's frd is a home-based hair dresser. $5 bucks she charged me for trimmin n layering short. hehehe.

here, hvn found a nice n trustworthy saloon. hub has always been visitin this 'green apple'. but the way she cuts for heng, very lousy. she cuts like my mom cuts heng's hair. 1 snip abv the ear. no more side burns!! :(

den few mths ago, found another nice interior saloon behind the 'green apple'. n the lady very good! she automatically giv curve shape abv the ear. i thot i found my life-savour! but few days ago, i heard they close liao!! :"(

& i thot i will visit them for CNY cut, too bad. n my son's hair is gettin long, who shld cut his hair? & my hair????

n when i told hub the good news, he said, "ask heng to hide another piece for u"

he is so GOOOOOD to us!! leave me n hengheng at home n he went over to god son's house play mahjong!!!

hengheng woke up when he is drivin out of the porch, i told him n he say later den bring him over play wif gerald. so 15min later, i called him, so how late will his late b. he say 1hr lah! let me lose some mahjong money 1st!

OOOOHHHHH!! so tt's wat he is so anxious abt!! mahjong huh!!

n his words starts to ring in my head "i dun like woman to play mahjong" so he can go play n leave his kids n wife alone lah!! we r suppose to go over together wan!!!! n he jus run over bcos there's mahjong?????!!!!!

nvm, no mood to go out liao, he can hv all his fun. me gona cook my own dinner orady..

tdy is another Chinese festive call 'dong zhi'. tdy suppose to signify the end of winter n begining of spring. so tdy, we mus eat glutton rice ball.

hub called MIL to ask how do we make our own rice balls. he always love home-cooked meals. n til now, i den no he love home-cooked food til this extend!!

but MIL told him, we adults dun nid to eat lah, cos once we eat the balls, mean we r older by 1 yr. but heng can eat more, so he grows up faster. huh?? i dun wan heng to grow so fast. i still wan to enjoy his "babyhood" :D

he came home early tdy bcos there's some loadin n unloadin done in our house. n he brought back glutton flour, brown sugar n old ginger. when i was going thru the stuff, i ask him, where's the pandan leaves?

haha, he forgot the most impt ingredient! so at nite, we drive arnd the neighbourbood, hopeing to c a pasa malam so we can buy the leaves. no luck, so went to 2 supermarket to try our luck. all sold out! i guess its bcos most of the folks bought them yest cos tdy mornin nid to pray wif the rice balls.

otw home, we pass by an indian grocery shop. he went in wif a last hope. n he got it! den we went to 7-11 to buy some peanut cookies so we can hv peanut rice balls. he crushed few cookies into peanut crumbs. we sprinkle them into the balls dough. but the dough always leak. so we only made a few wif peanuts, the rest r plain.

mmmmm mmmmmmm!!! not bad for a 1st timer! we had 1 bowl of soup each. n i m still so full as i type this journal.

PS: i dun dare to eat alot of rice balls bcos i could get gastric

few days ago, hubby mentioned when he was young, a man pass by his old house n decided to 'giv some advices' to his mum abt him.

the 'priest' said to his mum, 'u dun hv to worry abt this son, he will bring home lots of gals for u to choose (to bcom her dotter-in-law)'

but my hub din mix wif any gals in pri, n he went to a boy's sch for secondary. so no gals ever stepped into his house durin these years.

he got more gal-visitors aft he broke up wif his ex (1st gf). he claimed it was all the net frds who happened to b arnd his area, so out of courtesy, stopped by. n thus, he jokingly ask his mom to choose 1 of these gals to bcom her dotter-in-law. but his mum said cannot, mus he like her 1st.

hmm...i vaguely remembered he said this to his mom in front of me, monica n karen when we 1st visited his house too. wow..imagined that, he ask his mom to choose us to bcom his gf, rite in our face!!! DARING!! mayb tt increase my gd impression of him. kekeke, so friendly wif his mum. n confirm not a mummy's boy.

PS: i ask MIL this afternoon, n she confirmed this story is true. i even rem the details wrongly, thot the 'priest' came to his wai-por house, but his mom corrected me n say its their old house.

jus cam back fr hub's cousin's last single nite party.

realise is their custom in Melaka tt the family organised a party the nite b4 their children marry off. so sweet n heart-warming! to hv ur frds n family together hving fun.

not like Sgp, we only go out wif our frds n drink til we drop!!

we oso hv 1 at Melaka home. i was wonderin y they nid to invite the relatives when the nex day every1 is gg to the weddin dinner orady. LOL. now i KNOW!!!

break is over!!! n my darlin is comin home!!!!!!

well, i guess i m fully charged, cos i woke up 8am+, same time as my hub wakes up. i think my sleep yest was a very good quality 1. cos i wake up today energized! muahahahaha

Sun hub's cousin marry off to the man of her dreams. n its our 1st time sittin in the chair for tea ceremony. kekeke, so blur abt these customary, esp how many ang baos we nid to giv them when they serve us tea.

ask frd n mummy, n finally i got it! 2 fr me n 2 fr hub!
