hubby just told me a sad story & it appears in today's newspaper.

his cousin's collegue just given birth in the same hospital as me. she is also giving birth in midnite, same as me. but unfortunately, her baby turn out to be unhealthy. same as me, the nurses ask me to wait for my gynae before i push. her gynae wasn't quick (or wasn't living as near to the hospital as mine) as mine. so her baby's delivery was delayed, thus lack of oxygen.

totally same situation as mine! when i was delivering chenchen, the nurses all told me not to push because gynae wasn't there yet. so what! i wasn't pushing, but my body is pushing the baby out, it's time!! i can't scream this out as i am in pain, & on mask. luckily after this thought has passed, the gynae appeared & catch my baby's head successfully & smoothly. as said in chenchen's blog, i ask for epidurial, but the nurse say she can see baby's head already, so epidurial is out of the question.

hengheng had a purple bullet-train look-alike car. and yesternite, he is playing with it. at the same time, he want to lay out his alphabet soft mat.

chenchen crawled over and took the car when heng is not looking. when he realise didi is playing with his car. he got upset and went to snatch it away. of cause he can't get it the 1st time. so hengheng went to take the big purple container-truck and give didi. didi still refuse to give up the car, & hengheng snatch it away.

chenchen cry loudly. (what else!) look at me in the form of complaining. i carried him elsewhere to distract him. he cool down a while and willing to play wif the truck. but the eyes still following the car.

since its time for bed, i ask them to pack the toys & we went to bed.

today, didi still remember he wants to play with the purple car!! because he went to find the car, and zoom it around the living room!!

1 will make you cry, 1 will make you laugh.

the 1 that will make you laugh: is that i broke my glasses. i've been so careful about my framless specs arnd my kids, that i forgot to take note of my action.

in the evening, i was bathing and arranging the toiletries. i was pushing BIL's hair gel to the center side of the shelve, but it went down to the basin, where i placed my specs. the usual place i put my specs, has a new lock on it. (the bathroom door's lock is 1/2 spoilt, so we bought a new 1 so hub can change.) so i just put my specs in the wash basin. & i never have thought that the hair gel will fall down!! arghh!! my RM250 glasses, gone for about 4mths of usage.

the other 1, you need to prepare a tissue box before i start.. ok? done? here goes:

baby YUSHAN's forearm is dead

the arm fallen off by itself

i do not wish to post the photos here, cause i will cry again.

she is born on 2007 july 23, a premature baby. so she has to be incubated til she's healthy enough to go home. but a careless nurse poke the wrong vessel on her arm while injection, and cause her arm to be virus infected. there's a time where her arm seems to be on the road of recovering, i..e. blood flowing back into her arm. but alas, things turn badly, and she is now 1 arm short.

MIL is asking how old is she, and i read to her from the newspaper. she's only TWO MONTHS OLD. she is saying, so pitiful, may buddha bless her with good life now on. i replied, ya, and also lucky she doesn't lost her arm after having it for few years. imagine if it happens to hengheng. it will be a greater blow for all. as baby YUSHAN grows up, she can learn to use her right arm fully, without the regret of losing 1. (since she has not use it before.)

well, my eyes are wet again...

today is a new chapter in my life. today is the FIRST DAY i attended the MSDC (Melaka Safety Driving Center) theory class. the ONE & ONLY, 5HR theory class i need to sit in. (Singapore has 2 theories, thus after you pass your basic, then you sit in is still acceptable.)

early morning, Mr Fong, my driving instructor, came to fetch me to the center (here the driving instructor came to fetch the student, not like singapore, the students go by themselves.). i went in to register, and given a blue card, he told me this will record down all my attendance.

so went in the class with him. he told the lecturer my Malay is not good, ask him to try to speak in English more often. but this arrogant lecturer didn't hear a word Mr. Fong said. he even ask me few questions in Malay. i can only smile, shake my head and mumble the last few words he said. i knew instantly he is trying to give me trouble. (oh, did i mentioned he speaks like a bullet train?)

my 6th sense is right!! after 2-3 questions which i can't answer, he said these exact words!! "don't understand ah? go back singapore take your license better!!"

DING DONG!! & my thoughts are: there goes the program of 'MALAYSIA: MY SECOND HOME', down the drain, flushed down the toilet. the government will thank you the BIG arrogant MAN when their program failed.

i just give a light smile & try not to show my disgusted face. luckily, he only lectures the morning half, 9-11.45am. after the break, an older Indian man came in. i was on RED alert mode. but i was wrong, he is more gentle on me. especially when he mentioned he stayed in Singapore for few years. (before the split) & there's where he learnt his English, and started his 'grandfather story'. so much so, 1 girl played on her handphone, caught by the lecturer. another 5 minutes of scolding. *yawnz...

finally managed to survive the 5 boring hours. next challenge will be the computer theory test. yap, its COMPUTER, not written theory test. wahahaha.

yest nite, dh told me to wear black, long sleeves shirt, dun show my neck or any part of my body, cos got 1 police officer gg to fetch me to the station tmr...i was thinking, 'yayaya, bla bla bla'

i replied, u dun wan say properly, seriously, i won't listen to u. so he say, serious, tmr the drivin center officer is comin at 8am to bring u for registration. so u can't wear too sexy.

i wore sexy? WAHAHAH. ya lah, Islam cannot show face n arms. i always show, cos i scare of heat dehydration.. :P~

so this morn, 7am, dh woke me up... so early!! but he knew i always drag n drag.. n the black shirt i found is actually a jacket, wif 2 buttons!! ahhh. quickly dig thru my pile of shirt, finally found my spaghetti black shirt (to wear inside.)

uncle instructor oso hv another student in his car orady. think she is hvin her test tdy. cos he drove to the ofix, instructed her to do smthg. n i followed him to a counter where he ask the procedure abt me (singaporean) takin drivin lesson / license in Melaka.

den he drove us back down to the learnin center (where i always pass by) n ask me to sit 1 side n wait for a while. i watch them, as the gal do her parallel parking. n i guess, she is takin her test tdy. cos abt 15min later, uncle drove towards me, wave to instruct me get into the car, drove to the nex bldg, n let her off. den i waited in the car for him to do another round of questionin abt my license. n the gal nvr return.... wish her best of luck in her practical test!

as i watched her drive, i recall my last 5 lesson in the circuit.. did i went up the slope? dun think so, i m only circling the circuit, stoppin at the line, etc. hvn went to parkin yet. n i decided to stop cos it was too rush n not convenient durin tt period of time. if i were to bite my teeth n continue, i m drivin for 10yrs orady... sighhh (tt is IF i pass in min 3x lah.. -_-")

we held a mini family celebration for hengheng this evening. suppose to b 'personal' cos MIL only wan her children & heng's great-grandparents to b home for this party. but FIL ask his 2 sis n 1 bro over. but sadly only the bro n 1 of his 4 sons able to make it. & the food is so much, we think will b eatin these for the nex 3 days!!

aft cake blowin n cutting, i m enjoyin it wif hengheng, 3rd BIL came over n whisper to 4th BIL, sittin nex to us, to move away cos 'big 1 wanna action'

i m thinking... FIL wanna do smthg?

den dh appear wif a bouque of flowers!!
